the story
The beginnings for Estate ran Wayvine started with a young Zachary Wilson at age 19 with an idea to turn a small patch of land on his family farm into a vineyard. His first year he took a plunge and ordered 4 acres of grapevines jumping right into the industry never looking back. Since then nearly a decade has past with the vineyard growing 2-3 acres every year. With the help of brother James Wilson along with family & friends they have grown the vineyard to almost 20 acres, created an unbelievable tasting room surrounded by vineyards on all sides & built a 6000 square foot winery for production. Wayvine grows 12 different varietals of Vitis Vinifera (European grape varietals) making 14 different wines currently. They believe in small, handcrafted batches that provide an ‘old world’ style of wine that all can enjoy.
